We have provided an area map below which shows the Hotels and the NC State Fairgrounds. This is followed by detailed text directions to the hotels and from the hotels to the tournament site.

Directions to Hotels

From the North (I-95)

• Take I-85 South (to Durham) at Petersburg, VA
• Take US-1 South (to Raleigh), exit 218 (left exit)
• Continue on US-1 for approximately 40 miles, it turns into Capital Blvd
• Take I-440 West/US-1 South/Outer Beltline (to Sanford)
• Take US-70 West/Glenwood Avenue, exit 7B
• Motel 6, 3921 Arrow Drive:
  • Stay in leftmost lane on exit ramp
  • Merge onto Glenwood Ave and move left over 2 lanes
  • Pull a U-Turn at the first lights (Amoco is to your left)
  • Get over to the right, Arrow Drive is immediately past the Amoco station
  • Watch carefully, or you will end up on I-440
• Days Inn, 6329 Glenwood: approximately 2 miles on your left
• Best Western, 6619 Glenwood: approximately 2.5 miles on your left (opposite Walmart)

From the South (I-95)

• Take I-40 West (to Raleigh), exit 81, stay left on exit ramp
• Take I-440 North/Outer Beltline exit 301
• Take US-70 West/Glenwood Avenue, exit 7B
• Motel 6, 3921 Arrow Drive:
  • Stay in leftmost lane on exit ramp
  • Merge onto Glenwood Ave and move left over 2 lanes
  • Pull a U-Turn at the first lights (Amoco is to your left)
  • Get over to the right, Arrow Drive is immediately past the Amoco station
  • Watch carefully, or you will end up on I-440
• Days Inn, 6329 Glenwood: approximately 2 miles on your left
• Best Western, 6619 Glenwood: approximately 2.5 miles on your left (opposite Walmart)

From the West (I-85/I-40)

• At the I-85/I-40 split; stay on I-40 East
• Take I-540 towards US-70, exit 283
• Take US-70 East (to Raleigh), exit number 4a, you will be entering the Area Map from Glenwood Avenue at the top left
• Stay straight through the lights (past the Angus Barn) and merge onto US-70/Glenwood Ave
• Best Western, 6619 Glenwood: approximately 4 miles on your right (opposite Walmart)
• Days Inn, 6329 Glenwood: approximately 4.5 miles on your right
• Motel 6, 3921 Arrow Drive:
  • Continue past the Days Inn
  • Past Crabtree Valley Mall, get in the right most lane
  • Turn right onto Arrow Drive immediately past the Amoco station
  • Watch carefully, or you will end up on I-440

Directions to the Site

The directions below will take you to the intersection of Blue Ridge and Trinity Roads.
From there, please refer to the detailed site map we have provided.
The racing lanes are in the Holshouser Building.

From Best Western/Days Inn

• Turn right onto Glenwood Avenue from the hotel
• Continue past Crabtree Valley Mall, get in the right most lane
• Take the I-440 South/Outer Beltline on ramp, stay right at the fork in the ramp
• Take Wade Avenue/I-40 West, exit 4b
• Stay right, and take the 1st exit, Blue Ridge Road
• Turn left onto Blue Ridge Road
• Trinity Road is the second set of lights
• From Trinity Road: go about 1/2 mile and turn left onto a road between to big parking lots that leads to Gate #9 After you pass through the gate, keep to your right and come around a curve past the maintenance buildings and horsetrack. The Holshouser building is on your right.

From Motel 6

• Turn left onto Arrow Drive from the hotel
• Turn right onto Glenwood Avenue and stay right
• Take the I-440 South/Outer Beltline on ramp, stay right at the fork in the ramp
• Take Wade Avenue/I-40 West, exit 4b
